APS 2020 talks

So the 2020 March Meeting of the American Physical Society was cancelled due to fears about the coronavirus.  This was quite a shocking outcome, as the cancellation happened at the last possible minute.  Many of us were getting ready to board flights, and some people had already left and only found out about the cancellation after they got to their hotel rooms in Denver.  I can't imagine what it was like to have to make that decision to cancel.

Anyway, like everyone else, I was scheduled to give a 10 minute talk on research that I've been doing along with my collaborators (Arno Kampf and Saikat Banerjee at the University of Augsburg, in Germany).  I decided to make a video of my presentation and post it here; I'm also going to see if I can figure out how to post a link to it on the APS website.

So if you are curious about what sorts of things I do, please have a look at the video.
